Ren Ren is a Denmark-based singer-songwriter duo and a married couple. That relationship is the defining engine of their sound: an intuitive interplay between two voices that feels almost conversational, the kind of intimacy that seeps into every note without trying.
Their debut Wild Geese Wedding spills over with longing and strange grace. There's a sepia-hued country feel to it, or maybe it's just familiar, like the thrum of the road beneath a time machine from the early 70s. Some of Denmark's finest musicians were good enough to drop in and lend a hand.
Mixed in Berlin by Charis Karantzas and mastered by Bernhard Range at Schaltergeräte Studios.

Kati Brien
Kati is a musician and composer whose restless creative life ranges far beyond any single genre. A tenured member of the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra — where she plays saxophone, flute and clarinet — her 2025 album Zelebrity Zebra, released under her own name with her long-running dream band, is a jazz record of rare warmth and invention. On Wild Geese Wedding she brings that same command to bear on a different canvas: playing saxophone, clarinet, flute, harmonica, guitar, bass, keyboards, mandolin and piano, singing on every track, and overseeing the production with a quiet authority that holds the whole record together.
Nick Angel
Nick wrote every song on Wild Geese Wedding. If his songs are the bones of the record, his lyrics instinctively commune with the spirit. Australian-born and a published novelist, his writing draws on a lifetime of wide distances.
